I’ll be doing a show this weekend in Portland at a new Gallery/Bar called Refuge.  I’ll be bringing some paintings with me from Seattle on the train ride and I’ll also be painting an installation in the space. Hopefully I’ll get my friend and Portland graffiti artist native ELBOE to help me out and collaborate on the project. Should be a fun time so swing through.

I’ll be working with my friends company KARVT soon making a series of limited edition laser etched wooden Macbook skins. The one above is by Mr.Penfold, this sounds like a fun project to work on so stay tuned for these, there gonna be hot.

I’ll be busy working on tons of new paintings these next couple of months so stay tuned for updates on new paintings. I made a recent switch to Oils so it will be exciting to see these new pieces come to life.

This is a painting I did a few years ago but I never took a photo of it till the other day. At the time I was painting similar characters on the street,but other than that these guys are pretty finished now. This painting is available if anyone is interested contact me, it’s hanging in my place right now and I think it’s around 24″x36″. Cheers!

Today I took a little trip to the Frye Art Museum here in Seattle and studied some of the older artwork in the Frye collection. I was really digging the figurative work of Leopold Shmutzler and Franz Von Stuck.

I wanted to post another quick update on a collaboration painting I’ve been working on with my buddy Parskid so people can see it coming along a little more. Were working on it tonight and it will really start to get filled out with more detail and little Parskid imagination creations. I’ll post more flicks up soon so stop by again,ciao!-Joe
